Who We Are

Our History

On November 1, 2007 in the heart of the financial zone of the city of Medellin we opened our doors. We wanted to offer our guests a space dedicated to providing a haven for luxury business travelers in the city of Medellin.
A space was built thanks to the efforts of an excellent team that works continually to make sure that we are the first choice for foreigners and executives that visit our lovely city.
From the moment you enter the lobby of the Hotel San Fernando Plazr a you will immediately sense the pillars of our hotel: elegance and refined taste in every detail, as well as the warmth in all areas of the hotel as well as in the attitude of our dedicated staff.
In 2010 we received a Certification in Service and Quality award from the SGS at the Latin American Quality Awards in Santa Marta, and the Exito Awards prize in Lima, Peru for excellence in business management.
In 2011 we were the recipients of the International Quality Summit Award in New York City as well as the Latin Amercan Quality Institute Award in Bogota for excellence in the quality of our services.

In 2012 we received our Recertification for Norma NTSH006:2009 and we were the first hotel in Antioquia under the new parameters to classify as a 5 star hotel.


To maintain high standards of quality in hotel services while being supported by updated technological infrastructures with a team of commited individuals who strive for quality service as well as making profits for our investors and stockholders.



We are looking forward to being recognized in 2015 for being the best in Medellin due to our commitment to saving the planet while providing quality standards in our hotel for our national and international guests.
